Elevate's facilities receive shipments for multiple clients every day. To ensure that inbound shipments are properly sorted and received please follow the guidelines below.

Expected Arrivals

Prior to arrival at an Elevate facility an Expected Arrival must be created in Elevate's WMS. The expected arrival provides our receiving team with all the shipment information including:

  • Estimated arrival dates
  • Carrier (when possible)
  • Tracking or PRO numbers
  • Ocean Container Number
  • PO or reference numbers
  • Product SKU's and expected quantities

Elevate will not begin receipt of a shipment without an Expected Arrival in the WMS. If you have any questions please reach out to our support team.

Address

All shipments must be properly addressed on all relevant paperwork. Most importantly, all shipping documentation must display the Client's name as Ship To Name or Attention. It is not acceptable or practical to list Elevate employees, Client Employees or Owners, or departments (i.e. Receiving) as the Ship To Name or Company.

Please format addresses on Shipping Documents as outlined below:

Reference Information on Packages / Pallets

Products shipped to Elevate must be marked with the proper reference information that makes it possible for the receiving team to associate them with the Expected Arrival in the WMS.

All cartons and pallets must indicate at a minimum:

  • Client Name
  • PO / Reference Number
  • Barcoded SKU or UPC and Qty

Packaging and Labeling Guidelines

Please review the most current version of Elevate's packaging and labeling guidelines in the document linked below.

Packaging and Labeling Guidelines

Please note that packaging of product MUST be consistent across SKU's. If inbound shipments are received with variation to carton qty's from other receipts of the same SKU additional charges may apply.

Appointments

Small parcel shipments sent via USPS, FedEx, or UPS do not require an appointment. LTL shipments of 5 pallets or less do not require an appointment.

All LTL shipments exceeding 5 pallets, truckload shipments, or ocean container shipments require an appointment be made. Please have the carrier contact Elevate for an appointment via phone at 208-522-5300. Carrier must provide the Client Name, PO / Reference Number, and the load details (pallets, cartons, weight, etc.) in order to schedule the appointment.

COD Charges

Elevate will not pay any COD charges without prior authorization and approval. COD payments made on behalf of Clients are subject to fees as outlined in the Service Agreement.

Non-Compliance

Deviation from these guidelines may cause delays and/or result in additional receiving charges. Elevate will not be responsible for any carrier charges or fees resulting from not following these guidelines.
